WHY THIS ITEM

A floor, not a rug

Lays a walking surface over grass, dirt and gravel, so what is on the ground stays on the ground and out of the camper.

Edges that take a peg

Stitched edging tape all the way round, with a metal eyelet in each corner. The peg goes through brass, not through the weave.

Open weave

Rain passes through instead of pooling on top, so it does not turn into a wet mat you have to walk around. It is not a roof; it is a floor that handles weather.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Quick Answers

Question 1: Which size do I need?

Match the width of your awning or the space outside the door. 8'10" suits a smaller trailer, 10'6" most mid-size rigs, 12'2" a large setup. All three are 8'2" deep. All come in Flint, a mid grey that hides dirt.

Question 2: Does it keep me dry?

No. It is an open weave, so rain goes through it. What it does is keep the ground off your feet and out of the camper, and it does not hold water the way a solid mat does.

Question 3: Is it flame retardant?

Yes. It is rated flame retardant, which is why it can live under the grill table and around the fire chairs. Treat embers the way you would on any surface and it will be fine.

Question 4: What if it gets a hole in it?

Nothing. A tent peg through the wrong spot or a dropped grill tool leaves a hole, not a run. The weave does not unravel from a puncture.

Question 5: Where is it made?

In Vejle, Denmark, on the old production floor at Isabella's headquarters. Same building the company has made outdoor equipment in since 1957.
