WHY THIS ITEM
No poles, one valve
The frame is air. Slide the keder into the rail, open one valve, pump, and the beams stand up on their own. Nothing to assemble, nothing to lose in the grass.
The van can leave
The tent stands on its own. A tunnel connects it to the awning rail on the van and zips off in a minute, so the room stays at the site while you go for supplies.
Built to stay up
Air beams flex in wind where a rigid pole would strain at the joint. Panels open for a breeze or zip closed against rain. Set it up once and it holds the pitch for the week.
SETUP STEPS

Slide in the tunnel
Roll the awning in. Feed the tunnel's keder strip into the rail and pull it along until it sits over the door.

Pump and fill
Open the valve and pump, the pump is in the bag, until the beams are firm. The frame rises at once.

Peg, zip, done
Peg the corners, then the sides. Zip the tunnel to the tent. When the van goes, unzip the tunnel and the room stays.

Does it fit my van?
It fits a keder rail on a Fiamma, Thule or Gerard awning, and the Airstream Touring Coach. The rail height picks the size: Van for 92 to 96 in, Van High for 99.5 to 110.4 in. Both sizes cover the Touring Coach, depending on the model
Do I have to take the awning off?
No. The awning stays on the van, rolled in. The X-Tension uses the awning's own rail.
How long does it take?
Ten to fifteen minutes the first time, less once you have done it twice. One valve fills the whole frame.
Can I drive away with it up?
Yes. The tent stands on its own and the tunnel zips off the tent side in about a minute. Unzip, drive, come back, zip.
